LSDS Robe de soirée - Elegant Evening Dress 1912

I thought this pattern was so elegant I just had to give it a try but with my own interpretation :o).

The jacket is made from Silk Dupion in this asymmetrical style and lined with matching satin.  The skirt, with its draped tail, is made from Contrasting Satin and is also fully lined.

The jacket has been embroidered and has a chain stitch edging with a tiny purple/green iridescent bead in each chain.  The head piece, belt and handbag have been made by me on my embroidery machine and is classed as "free standing lace".

$35.50/£22 + $4/£2.00 post and packing.   Email me if interested here

Aimee finishes her craft project

As we don't have a Bambino Aimee decided to make this LSDS Craft pattern in a size that would fit her dolly.

Her dress is crocheted in soft pale blue cotton thread with white accents to the sleeves and bonnet and also the collar.

It has then been hand embroidered with bullion roses and daisies to the front bodice and the hat crown.  The  hat and bodice are decorated with organza ribbons.  The back is closed with 5 small  blue buttons.      *****SOLD******

$24/£15 + $4/£2.00 postage.  (The little dolly pram is not included)
